AI transparency

Assistant-readable data, purchases always human

Sicilian Whiskey does not currently expose a public generative chat. The site publishes structured data and surfaces that search engines or digital assistants can read, so catalog, shipping, resellers and OakChain can be interpreted more reliably. No assistant replaces the user, bypasses age checks or autonomously pays for alcoholic products.

Active non-generative surfaces

AI Gateway, llms.txt/llms-full.txt, schema.org, deterministic semantic search, operational LLM feedback and human-reviewed CRM editorial pipelines are active. These surfaces are not a public AI chat.

  • AI Gateway: exposes catalog, quotes and handoff to the official checkout, without completing payment.
  • Semantic Search: helps users find pages, products and services without making autonomous decisions.
  • LLM files: provide crawlers and assistants with structured data on products, shipping, resellers and OakChain.

Inactive systems

The Gemini-based Volpe Rossa Concierge prototype is kept as a legacy case study. It is not mounted in the public frontend and is not used for live conversations.

What AI cannot do

No AI assistant can autonomously buy whiskey, bypass age verification, confirm payment, change prices, promise unsupported destinations or replace the adult user in checkout.

Human control and alcohol

Every alcoholic-product purchase requires confirmation in the official checkout. The backend applies age and destination rules, including 21+ for U.S. paths.

Data and tracking

Interactions may generate technical logs, commerce events, LLM feedback or checkout recovery data under the privacy and cookie policies. Sensitive user data is not published in machine-readable feeds.
